Will compete for Starting QB job with Josh McCown
Byron Leftwich was signed to a two year deal for 7.5 million dollars today with the Buccaneers. He will have a chance to start in Tampa if he can beat out Josh McCown. The Redskins, and his former Pittsburgh Steelers were both in the mix, but it came down to the fact that Byron wanted a place where he has a chance to play.
The fact that the Lions who only have Culpepper and Stanton on the roster did not even talk to Leftwich points to the fact that they will be taking Stafford at 1 in this month's draft.
sadly, probably Leftwich's most memorable moment
of his football career.
